Item #N407BRIDE

“AS YOU WISH…” It’s not an exact replica, but this piece was inspired by the necklace Buttercup wears near the end of the movie “The Princess Bride” (and it can be seen in some promotional images, like the one here). This necklace is made with freshwater pearls on knotted silk. The drop in the centerpiece is mother of pearl, and it is flat (unlike the original, but I’m having a heck of a time finding truly teardrop-shaped pearl beads). Adjustable between 16-17 inches long with lobster claw clasp. Number available: ONLY ONE. Handmade in my private studio. The item you see here is exactly the item you will receive. Giftboxed. If you like this one, check out the ivory wedding earrings here.

Please note: This item is under-priced considering the amount of time I spent knotting the silk in between each individual pearl. However, I’m selling it at a low price because it is a “prototype,” an experiment. I do plan to make some more, but I am going to try some larger pearls which will be closer to the original.
