This is my attempt to replicate the beautiful necklace worn by Sara Paxton in the movie “Aquamarine.” Not exactly the most popular movie of all time, but my daughters (ages 4 and 8 ) love it, so I’ve had to watch it about 50 million times on home DVD. The title character, (Paxton) is a mermaid who, with the help of a couple of preteen girls, has to prove to her father that love exists (mermaids think it’s a myth) or else she’ll be forced to return to the ocean and an arranged marriage. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll know exactly what necklace I’m talking about, and if not, it’s still a lovely item, anyway!

This necklace measures 22 inches long, with a spring clasp, and features glass beads strung on waxed linen, freshwater pearls, coin charm, and mother of pearl drop. This is a handmade item, only one is available, and the photo shows exactly the item you will receive. Gift boxed.
