Note from the artist: I love working with stones. And while gems and semi-precious stones are beautiful, I also love the deep earthiness of unassuming stones. I have no idea what these are, they were sold simply as “stone beads.” But they are delightfully soft, solid and grounding. Spirals are ancient decorative and religious motifs, going back thousands of years. — Jen
