King and Queen faces are taken from reprinted images of an old Italian tarot deck, which is the origin of our modern playing cards. Faces are glued under a glass pebble. I can personally attest to the fact that such glued pebbles are difficult to remove (having tried to take apart previous items of similar construction), but they are not indestructible; keep away from water, cleaning chemicals, blunt force, etc. Accented with crimson Czech glass drops. Only one pair available, handmade in my studio; the pair you see here is exactly the pair you will receive. Measure 1-1/2 inches long, not including surgical steel ear wires (image enlarged to show detail). Gift boxed.
