This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind original piece of adornment art created in my private studio. Features brass chain, brass roller skate, propeller beanie, doll, bicycle and monkey charms. Old-fashioned typewriter key style letters spell “TOYS.” Letter charms measure 3/4-inch across. I am often asked where I get these typewriter letter charms — I make them myself using materials from a store called Panopolie. Bracelet measures 7-1/4 inches long, with brass lobster claw clasp. This is the standard women’s bracelet length. If you know from past experience that bracelets bought in the store are too big or too tight on you, then you will probably need this one re-sized. Re-sizing is free if you put a note in the “instructions to seller” box when checking out.

Please note that the propeller beanie charm has a moving propeller on top. While this is really cool and cute, it can also easily snag on clothing or get caught on something and become bent. I will include one replacement beanie charm with the bracelet when purchased. My steampunk and neo-Victorian pieces are considered costuming pieces and works of art, and as such may not be as practical or hardy as other jewelry items.

This ring was made with an old button I purchased in an antique store. It’s a little difficult to tell in the picture, but the button contains a small relief of a gold flower on a stem with leaves, surrounded by a purplish patina. The ring is a size 7 on my ring mandrel, made with gunmetal wire. Button measures just over a 1/4-inch across (images enlarged to show details). Inspired by Joss Whedon’s cult TV show FIREFLY and the movie SERENITY, this bracelet features pistols, leaves, planet and Asian-themed charms (the oval charms are not yellow, they are silvertone, the color is just from a reflection when I took the picture). The oval charms say “luck” and “love” on the reverse. Brown glass beads. Measures 7-1/4 inches long, which is the standard women’s bracelet size (image is enlarged to show details). I added the elephant image, which was found and recycled from a India travel brochure, and coated it with Ice Resin. On 18-inch beige leather cord, with lobster claw clasp.
